ABOUT
CATHERINE HUMPHREY joined the firm as an associate in November 2023 in the area of union representation.
Catherine received her J.D. from Chicago Kent College of Law, where she also received a certificate in labor and employment law from the Martin H. Malin Institute for Law and the Workplace. While attending law school, Catherine interned at the Illinois Attorney General’s office in the area of civil appeals. She also clerked for almost two years at Asher, Gittler & D’Alba, Ltd.
Catherine received a B.S. in economics with a math emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a certificate in French. As an undergraduate, she interned at the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council and the Chicago Federation of Labor.
Catherine is a member of the American Bar Association, Section of Labor and Employment Law and the State and Local Government Bargaining and Employment Law Committee. She has attended annual ABA committee meetings since she was nine months old with her family, who have all been actively involved in the public sector labor movement.
